Back for its 14th year, Art Toronto, the Toronto International Art Fair, is delighted to announce its exhibitor line-up, showcasing the best in contemporary art from Canada, Europe, Asia and the United States. Art Toronto 2013 will showcase over 110 galleries representing 13 countries. Widely acknowledged as an essential platform for networking in the Canadian visual arts community, Art Toronto brings together collectors, curators, artists and galleries from across Canada and around the world.

This year’s edition of Art Toronto will welcome galleries from around the world, including Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, UK, USA and of course Canada. Among this year’s galleries are both new and returning exhibitors including Corkin gallery, Toronto; Stephen Bulger Gallery, Toronto; Gallery Jones, Vancouver; MA2 gallery, Tokyo Japan; MULHERIN, Toronto; Cynthia-Reeves, Walpole USA, PARISIAN LAUNDRY, Montreal among others.

Art Toronto’s NEXT section includes a fresh mix of 16 young contemporary galleries, showcasing work by emerging artists. This section of the fair presents an ideal opportunity in which to discover up-and-coming talent, as well as invest in the careers of the next generation of artists.

PLATFORM, Art Toronto’s engaging program of talks, tours, and on-site programs, will cover a variety of key issues in contemporary, modern and historical art. PLATFORM will explore collecting practices, examine contemporary art issues and include conversations with curators, artists, gallerists and writers.  For the eighth year running, The Power Plant collaborates with Art Toronto to present Power Talks, a series of lectures by influential art-world figures speaking in the context of the this year's fair.

Art Toronto is also delighted to continue partnering with some of Toronto’s most important cultural organizations, including the Art Gallery of Ontario, the beneficiary of the Art Toronto Opening Night Preview. Tickets to this must-attend event are now available online. In addition, Art Toronto will collaborate with the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art on the Art Toronto MOCCA Benefit Edition, which will be announced later this summer. For the fifth consecutive year, a Canadian artist has been commissioned to produce a limited edition print, which will be available exclusively at the fair.
